GoDaddy Files For IPO

It was announced late on Friday that the web hosting provider and domain registrar Go Daddy had filed registration forms to make an initial public offering of stock in the company. The Go Daddy IPO has been a subject of speculation since April, when the company reportedly hired the Lehman Brothers to manage the project for them.

Web hosting services firm, midPhase Services, Inc. the provider of dedicated and shared services for small to medium sized businesses (SMBs), has reported that it has finally achieved record growth in 2006, which it attributes to the affiliate program that it uses. Dan Ushman, Co-founder and Vice President of Marketing at midPhase stated that, “2006 was a phenomenal year for us. We grew by leaps and bounds, shattering every record we ever set for the company’s growth. And most of it was due to our affiliate program.”
