CGI Upgrades To .Net Framework 3.0
Windows web hosting provider, Easy CGI, has decided to upgrad its shared hosting servers, to the new managed code programming model for Windows, .Net Framework 3.0. The Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (formerly WinFX) is going to allow developers to take full advantage of the .Net Framework by mixing the power of the .NET Framework 2.0 with new technologies for building applications that have visually compelling user experiences, seamless communication across technology boundaries, and the ability to support a wide range of business processes.
Dan Richfield CEO of Easy CGI remarked, “The .Net Framework 3.0 upgrade is a natural progression for Easy CGI. With the recent addition of AJAX 1.0, we now are able to give our customers a wide open playing field to developing powerful applications within the .Net 3.0 Framework.”
The .NET Framework 3.0 comes with four new technologies: Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), and Windows CardSpace (WCS, formerly “InfoCard”).
.NET Framework 3.0 can be utilized to build applications that have visually compelling user experiences, seamless communication across technology boundaries, the ability to support a wide range of business processes, and an easier way to manage your personal information online. Easy CGI has been in the web hosting industry since 1998, its goal to offer superior technology, cost effective, efficient solutions and exceptional customer service.
