Hosting.com Offers Free Hosting Plans

Hosting.com – one of the top web hosting sites – is making everything easier by revealing its new its free Microsoft Beta Web hosting plans. They have stated that they are allowing their customers the chance to test out the new Beta versions of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and also Windows Server 2008 before the February 27, 2008 official release.

The Windows plan includes 100 MB of disk space, 25 GB of data transfer and remote site administration. Other features include Windows Server 2008 RC0 with IIS 7.0, modular architecture, delegated administration and tighter integration with .NET.

The SQL Server plan includes a 100 MB Data File, a 20 MB Transaction Log and a login with DBO rights. Other features include enhanced encryption options, a new resource governor, new data and time data types and table parameters to stored procedures.
